MEET MARC

I am proud of my family roots, which include 10 generations of York County farmers and tradesmen. Central Pennsylvanian values such as hard work, honesty, and service were engrained in my heart and mind as I grew up in the southern portion of the Susquehanna Valley. After graduating from York College, I entered the United States Air Force, where I met my wife of nearly 30 years. Following my service in the Air Force, I enrolled in the Troops to Teachers program and entered the world of education. I was blessed to serve as an administrator and teacher for 27 years, 20 of which were within the Northern York County SD. My wife, Cindy, and I cherish our Dillsburg community and are thankful to have had the opportunity to raise our children, Ben and Maggie, in northern York County. Northern York has been our home for nearly 30 years, and I would consider it an honor to continue to represent my home in the PA House of Representatives. I never aspired to run for this office, but was convinced by my students and their families to use this opportunity to continue giving back to the communities which have blessed me and my family so generously.
